Doors are more than just functional furniture pieces especially in The Sims 4.
Seeing as TS4 has undeniably the best and most intuitive Build Buy mode so far, Id argue that TS4 actually encourages players to actively experiment with crafting and creating builds.
This site was designed with the.com. Website builder. Create your website today. Unique styles of teeth were added in a free update back in early 2017 featuring a meager.
Because of that, theres a definite demand for more build pieces to play around with.
Its been well over a year since NoBlu v1 came out and I figured it was time for an update! With v2, the intensity of the in-game lights dont change like it did with v1. I only focused on getting rid of the blue tint in dark lighting conditions. Maxis has fixed the arch lighting bug (wherein the light spill was ridiculously high and made rooms brighter than theyre supposed to. Heres a plant mega CC pack of epic proportions. There are no words needed to describe how ambitious this pack is, and how successful the creator was in pulling it off. This pack is basically a whole bunch of Sims 2 outdoor plants, but converted for the Sims 4. Desert plants for desert landscapes. Water plants for pools and ponds.
Enter doors.
(Again, more than just functional furniture)
Doors can be just as much decoration for a room as chairs, rugs, and carpets. Im of the opinion that the wrong door can even break the aesthetic of a build. No hard feelings if we disagree.
But the point is, you can do a lot with doors. Which is why its such a crying shame that the current vanilla game selection is so limited.
But dont worry, Sims 4 CC saves the day once again. 1. Cedar Door 11 by mutske
The Sims 4: Tiny Living Stuff Pack revived all the cramped-quarters, camper-van-life desires Id forgotten I had.
Im a sucker for tiny living spaces.
I adore studio apartments, shoebox bedrooms, and homes the size of someone elses gardening shed.
For that reason, anything that takes up as little space as possible is a win in my book. So these slim, slender, 11 doors by mutske are a personal favorite.
These doors take up exactly one tile. No more, no less.
Perfect if youre looking to score all the perks of that tricky 32-tile residence. 2. Nzuza Bedroom Door by jomsims
On top of tiny living concepts, I also happen to be a sucker for the minimalist aesthetic. Show me clean lines and solid shades, and Im sold .
So it follows that Im not a big fan of patterns.
It takes a lot for me to like anything that comes in more than three colors.
The pattern for these Nzuza bedroom doors strikes a happy compromise. Theres a pattern thats plenty textured for those who prefer that their furniture have a little character but its a clean enough design to still be acceptable in a minimalist household.
It also helps that this door only has solid colors (four standard neutrals) as its design variations. 3. Folding Steel Glass Door Functional Folding Door by AshenSeaced
This Folding Steel Glass Door mod is a particularly interesting creation by AshenSeaced.
The name says it all: its a steel-framed glass door that automatically slides open as a Sim walks through (much like those automatic sliding doors in hospitals or at the mall).
Seems simple enough, but it has this really cool, high-tech vibe that belongs in some snooty-millionaire-mansion build or a swanky, upscale San Myshuno apartment.
There are two variations: one that folds to the left, and one that folds to the right, and theyve got 14 color options each. 4. Modern Doors Dream by Devirose
Just like the Nzuza bedroom doors by jomsims, these Modern Doors Dream by Devirose come in patterns that are simple, elegant, and could still be comfortably classified as minimalist.
Do note that Im not a designer, so probably dont take my word as gospel.
These fully functional wooden doors stand out with their clean lines, crisp edges, and warm, solid colors. There are four designs; (1) alternating panels, (2) thin horizontal stripes, (2) wood-and-white yin-and-yang, and (3) teeny white dots on plain black background.
Those arent their actual names, but they do describe what each door looks like pretty aptly. 5. TS4 Doors Set by TatyanaName
This TS4 Doors Set by creator Tatyana gives us our first taste of dcor-like patterns i.e., patterns that arent just crisp lines, defined edges, and repetitive shapes.
(Save perhaps the third)
There are three doors in this set, and each one is remarkably distinct. The pictures should say plenty, but you basically have one with a chain-like pattern, one with a stylized depiction of an elegant, florally-plant, and one with a four-square diamond in the center (and lots of intersecting lines).
All three doors come in one pre-set color each, but they all generally give off the feeling of dark wood and frosted glass.
All three are also great choices for a home that is either very gothic, or a tad bit artsy-fartsy. 6. Morus1 Doors by Mulena
This heres a pretty interesting double-door that one could describe as safely avant-garde.
Or maybe tastefully eclectic.
Its sort of weird, is what Im trying to say, but in a really good way.
One side of the door is a six-square-panel affair in a solid light wood color, top to bottom. The other side is another six-square-panel affair, but this time with mosaic-flower-patterned squares.
The patterned side has three variations; one with just the bottom two panels patterned, one with just the top two panels plain brown, and one where that whole side of the door is patterned.
I will say that it makes for a very interesting and fashionable (maybe) way to differentiate the interior of a room. For that, I cant fault it. 7. UK Phonebox Door by Akisima
I am all for novel dcor.
I am also particularly fond of functional dcor.
This UK Phonebox Door by Akisima happily fulfills both. Its a working Sims 4 door that also happens to come in a cute, quirky design. Is there a reason it looks like a good old-fashioned phone booth from the rainy streets of England?
Not that I know of.
Is there a reason for your Sim to use it specifically? Yes.
Its eccentric, eye-catching, and its got character. In fact, its the perfect bedroom or office door for a particularly well-travelled Sim. You know, the kind that collects Omiscan artifacts and refined crystals by the dozen. 8. Wooden Three-Panel Door, Colored by LaLunaRossa
If this isnt the most aesthetically pleasing thing youve seen all day then you probably work in an art museum.
Which fair.
But my point still stands; these door colors are gorgeous . An absolute visual treat, especially if you line them up as the sample photos show.
These are basically recolors of the base game staple, and they look excellent. The softest colored wood swatches I ever did see and Ive seen a lot . Perfectly pale pastel shades that let the wooden texture of the doors shine through.
Honestly, all the variations in this recolor look like fresh, hand-painted, light cedar wood. I saw them and I was instantly sold. 9. MG Modern Doors Recolors by morgana14
Remember the Modern Doors Dream CC pack by Devirose mentioned here?
These doors by morgana14 follow much of the same design: theyre crisp, clean, and oh-so geometrical.
They also come in solid color palettes that are either warm, dark, or something in between.
If you search modern minimalist , these doors would probably pop up. Theyre so upscale and contemporary-chic, they look more put-together than your Sim could ever hope to be.
These doors look great, is what Im saying.
And if you love a clean, modern style without too many pops of color, they would fit right in. 10. Wood Door x21 BuildN Doors True Wood by K-Hippie Team
Lets be honest: there are good doors, there are great doors, and then there are these True Wood doors by K-Hippie Team.
Words cannot describe how in love I am with all the following K-Hippie Team creations, but Im going to try.
This True Wood set contains 21 delectable wooden doors that look like they all stepped off the cover of some expensive haute furniture magazine.
If you love builds that heavily involve wood, theres a door in this set that has your name on it.
Volume 1 of this set has 7 doors made entirely of natural wooden planks. Each door has a different shade, a different depth, and even a different grain texture. This makes it feel like each door was carved from a different tree.
Yes, the attention to detail is nuts.
(Pun only slightly intended.)
Volume 2 is characterized by doors with mainly horizontal planks of varying sizes (some of which are narrow enough to be considered slats). The textures of these doors have more of a cracked, well-worn, tropical-tree feel to them compared to Volume 1s deep mountain , rich pine vibe.
Volume 3 contains 7 wooden doors painted in fetching colors that are simple, but stunning.
Im going to be saying this a lot about the K-Hippie Team creations, but its true. The colors are gorgeous . Im talking deep lilac, emerald green, rich cocoa, and jewel-toned blue. Theyre aesthetic enough to work with most any color scheme and modest enough to fit in with most any style. 11. K All Wood Doors Set-4-5-6-7 by K-Hippie Team
If the K-Hippie Team doors from the previous item didnt fit your vision, maybe these K All Wood Doors will. They look just as tasty as the True Wood ones, if not just more patterned and more brightly colored.
There are 4 sets of 7 doors each, for a total of 28 doors.
Like the True Wood doors from the previous item, each set has a theme.
Set 4 is all lines, edges, and geometrical patterns. The wood texture in this set is a little more vibrant than the True Wood doors. Brighter browns, lighter browns, and even a splash of hot pink!
Set 5 is much somber by comparison. There are two doors in this particular set one a dark, ashy brown and the other a combination of light brown and ashy blue that look like theyre made of tiny wooden square panels rather than planks or slats of wood.
The 6 th set is pretty much like Volume 3 of True Wood . Seven wooden doors, each one painted a different color. The colors are a bit brighter and more saturated than the deeper, darker tones of the True Wood doors, but they are just as gorgeous.
Final set, Set 7, is the most eclectic-looking of the bunch.
Its fair to say that theres nothing these seven doors have in common, save for the fact that theyre made of wood. I wont even try to describe how uniquely-designed the doors in this set are. Youll just have to see for yourself! 12. BuildN Doors Metaaal by K-Hippie Team
The last item from the K-Hippie Team treasure trove of custom TS4 doors takes us away from homey pine cabins and puts us squarely in industrial grunge town.
Despite the difference in material and texture, the doors in this Metaaal door set are just as stunning as the items in K-Hippie Teams K All Wood and True Wood sets.
Keyboard, mouseCommand & Conquer: Red Alert 3: Uprising is a standalone single-player expansion pack to, released for Microsoft Windows exclusively via digital distribution on 12 March 2009. The game also features approximately 30 new maps for traditional skirmish, with many of these taking place in new environments, while some have unique scripts.
There are 12 choices this time around, but theyre still categorized according to a theme.
Volume 1 is basically cool metal-textured doors in solid colors; blue, brown, and two different shades of gray. Theyre all characterized by heavy amounts of rust.
Volume 2 has four doors that as the creators put it are for the grunge inside of you. Apt description. These four doors dont look as worn and acid-attacked as the ones in Volume 1. If anything, they look almost fashionably distressed.
Sort of the home-design version of ripped jeans.
Volume 3 has a very distinct and very loud black-and-yellow danger door. Do not let your Sim open this door. Ill be honest, though; the other doors in this set dont look any friendlier or more inviting. The light blue door looks like something clawed at it, top to bottom, and the tan door looks like its met its fair share of corrosive substances.
All these doors are great for abandoned builds, closed factory builds, and any-home-in-Strangerville-proper builds. 13. Front Doors (6) in 5 Colors Each by Mabra
These front doors by Mabra are much like Mulena Sims 4s Morus1 doors.
Both sides have a different pattern or design to them, effectively differentiating the interior from the exterior.
As the name says, there are six door designs with five colors for each design, giving us a total of 30 options. The designs themselves are incredibly contemporary, combining elements like glass, dark wood, and what looks like polished steel (based on the texture) into artfully asymmetrical and/or geometrical patterns.
In simpler terms, there are a lot of squares, lines, and artistic wooden strips cutting through solid neutral colors.
Mad props to the creator for making both sides look different while still ensuring their designs matched up. Its a little hard to explain, but the pictures definitely do this set justice.
All the doors here look like theyd be perfect for modern suburban builds and uber-modern, mid-city, mid-range condominium-type builds. 14. Toilet Stall Doors by Menaceman44
When I saw these doors, I knew I had to download them.
I do a lot of compound, dorm, and dormitel-type builds where theres usually a ton of Sims sharing the same living space and the same bathroom.
There are vanilla game public toilet stalls thanks to The Sims 4: City Living and Cats and Dogs packs, but theyre huge . And clunky. And dont always suit the modern-ish, streamlined builds I try to go for.
So these fully functional Toilet Stall Doors by Menaceman44 are a godsend.
Theyre cute, colorful, and they can easily turn multiple cubicles into a row of public toilet stalls without provoking any Embarrassed emotions.
There are 14 color options all in all. And dont worry if it seems like there are repeat swatches; doors that seem to share the same color have different-colored frames. 15. Double Door Fronts by scandiforest
Straight from the artfully acid-washed dreams of all grunge-loving interior designers and Sims 4 builders, we get scandiforests Double Door Fronts CC pack.
One look should tell you all you need to know about them. Theyre heavy-duty industrial double-doors that look like theyve seen things .
And they totally could have, depending on your narrative.
All 11 doors are worn, rusty, corroded, and simply scream condemned. Abandoned urban world? Old industrial graveyard? Forgotten factories that hold more secrets than they should?
If youre creating any of these builds, these doors are exactly what youre looking for. 16. Rainbow Door Pastel Recolour by nevyx
Nothing says Pastel Princess quite like these doors do. Granted, the colors and color combinations can seem a little obnoxious. And bright.
But given the rainbow design, that was probably the intention.
Regardless, I had to include these doors.
PhoneRescue 3.7.2 Crack + Activation Key 2020 Free Download Latest PhoneRescue 3.7.2 Crack is a recovery program and designed for retrieving all the lost messages, contacts, music, photos and many more. Using this application you can retrieve all the lost information and files from your device.
They can either fulfill a pre-existing bedroom theme (for Toddler, Kids, or Teens) or they can be a stylistic choice to make a bold statement. Either way, I thought they were perfect. Just three variations, sadly, but theyre plenty pretty. 17. Palace Doors by AnniQ
Just like Double Door Fronts by scandiforest, these doors by AnniQ are perfect for very specific themed builds. Aka palatial builds, as the name suggests.
There might not be much use for them in suburban builds for regular play (unless youre going for bizarre or eclectic). But they still look pretty darn cool.
There are three variations (again, as the name says) of roughly the same archway. The double doors come in different colors and different designs.
Kudos to the creator for making all three look substantially regal. 18. Puertas Cleo Doors by pqSims4
This brings the list away from clean and minimalist to full-on art deco , and Im here for it.
These doors are just brimming with character. Would they feasibly work for all builds? Probably not. Im hard-pressed to imagine any of these doors inside a homey cottage or a mountainside retreat.
But are they loudly and unapologetically bold?
Yes, and some Sim builders could very well be into that.
I, personally, see myself using some of the variations (particularly the one with the silhouetted dolphin and the one with the colorful-arrow-fletching-type design) for an eclectic black-and-white, semi-modern build. 19. Door Set: Poppy Sunflowers by DragonQueen
Although these doors look better suited for commercial lots rather than residential you cant deny that the concepts pretty unique.
I havent seen many stained-glass-type doors around, and this one is quite well done. My in-game testing shows that light (sadly) does not stream through the door like it would for windows or full-glass doors, but the design is pretty nonetheless.
The Poppy design has four different frame colors (three shades of brown and one white), as does the Sunflower one (two shades of brown, one white, one green).
And if flowers arent your thing, check out the Disney version of these doors by the same creator. 20. Interior Doors by Mulena
Finishing up this list is another set of double doors by Mulena Sims 4.
Much like her Morus1 doors, this Interior Doors CC set offers designs with different styles on both sides.
One side is solid wood (a rather nice, dark cherry color, in fact).
The other side is a real treat. Its literally scenery painted all over the doors .
And the scenes are gorgeous: a quaint, two-story cottage nestled in a forest clearing, white marble archways draped in delicate pink blossoms, and a path that leads straight to the sea, paved with cheery cobblestones and sunlight.
I think the duality of these doors much like her Morus1 is really clever.
You have one side versatile enough to fit comfortably into any style, but then you have another that is very clearly a stylistic choice. In the case of these doors, they give a whole new meaning to the concept of a picture door. Browse: The SimsVideo Games

Dont get me wrong. I love the soft blue-green-white gradient that is TS4s CAS setup as much as the next person.
But sometimes the background can get repetitive. And boring.
Especially if youre the type of Simmer who spends hours creating Sims instead of actually playing them.
Hey. No judgment here.
Im more of a explore the whole game girl myself, but I have friends who are utter masters at creating gorgeous Sims. So if your CAS is starting to feel a little dull, dont worry.
There are hundreds of CC creators who are all too happy to make alternative Sims 4 CAS backgrounds for us to enjoy.
Because this list is so massive, Ive chopped it up into three categories: Colors Patterns, Scenes Backdrops, and Pop Culture Scenes Concepts. Enjoy! Colors Patterns
Pretty straightforward.
These are CAS backgrounds that have simple designs, colors, and patterns that arent meant to depict anything (i.e., a street scene, a building, etc.). 1. Luumia CAS Overhaul 2
Lets start with something clean and simple.
Luumias CAS Overhaul 2 offers some pretty great replacements for the Sims 4 default CAS setup.
Aside from immersive lighting (which gives your Sims a lot more depth) and an eye specular remover for Pets, you also get to choose the color of your CAS background: 5 pastel gradients and 7 solid color options.
Absolutely perfect if you want no fuss, no muss, and no frills. I personally prefer the solid white background just because it makes every color on my Sims pop. 2. SnowKimxs Cute CAS
This CAS BG feels so much like the wallpaper of the spacey, galaxy-loving kids bedroom, and I am here for it.
The doodled stars and planets on a soft blue background coupled with cotton-candy clouds outlined in chalk?
Way too cute. You have to try it. 3. busra-trs Rainbow
If SnowKimxs BG was for the kid obsessed with stars and planets, busra-trs Rainbow CASBackground is for the full-on artsy kid who loves fingerpainting and hand-print painting.
Its a full screen of rainbow splotches thats pretty much wholly psychedelic with a dash of multi-colored lava lamp.
And I mean that in the best way. 4. KatVerseCCs Stars n Colors
Speaking of psychedelic, KatVerseCCs Stars n Colors CAS Background is a pretty good blend of unicorn drink colors and actual sparkles.
Who would have thought this combination would work?
I didnt, but clearly the creator is a visionary.
Its not as wallpaper-y as the previous two, but its definitely just as fun. 5. KatVerses Striped Studio CAS
Were back in wallpaper territory, but I honestly cant be mad.
Not when the wallpaper is this cute.
Simple candy-colored stripes provide a simple but stunning backdrop for all your gorgeous and quirky Sims. Sims 4 Studio Lighting Cc
There are eight color options too, in case you feel like switching it up from time to time. My favorites have to be mint and purple. 6. UrbanSimss Fall CAS Backgrounds
So the link will lead you to a whole page of several CAS background color packs.
The one I picked was the first pack, which is the creators Fall CAS Backgrounds pack.
But I do recommend exploring the other packs on this page if golden, earthy, and warm tones arent exactly your vibe.
FYI I tried the Urban Pastel CAS Backgrounds pack, too. Talk about your bubblegum pink.
Anyway the Fall CAS pack has 18 gorgeous solid color options to choose from. And as I mentioned earlier, theyre all warm, golden, earthy tones.
Whats great is that each color has its own individual download link, so you can definitely just pick the shade that catches your eye.
I went for 9, which is a muted mossy green that just demanded my attention. 7. KatVerses Camo CAS Background
The StrangerVille game pack introduced us to the Military career.
Why not design a soldier in front of a background that matches?
This unique camo-print CAS background is another one of KatVerses unique creations.
It might not be everyones cup of tea especially if your Sim sports a lot of greens and browns but just know that lighter colors pop quite well. A definite plus. 8. KatVerseCCs Marble CAS Background
Is everything on this list from KatVerse/KatVerseCC?
Nope. But you cant deny that they make awesome backgrounds .
And this blue-white-gray marble background is no exception.
Im someone obsessed with water themes and water patterns, so I absolutely had to include this.
Its all artistic ripples and watery streaks. Makes me think of a huge floor-to-ceiling painting in some high-end art gallery that my Sims would visit on vacation.
Point is, I love it. And I hope you do, too. 9. KatVerseCCs Grey Grunge CAS Background
This one has that photo-studio-backdrop feel to it that I think is pretty fun.
And if you can download custom CAS poses for your Sim, it would make for some truly excellent shots.
Especially if your Sim prefers the grunge-y street, casually urban fashion. 10. KatVerses Colorful Gradient
If the rainbow splotches from item number 3 were too colorful and defined, and the solid colors from number 1 are too plain, I give you a viable middle ground: a gradient.
Specifically three gradients from KatVerse.
I tried the third option which is this lovely soft blend of blues with some purple and I gotta say; it is so pretty!
Zooming in on your Sim also gives you this nice soft color wash. 11. KatVerseCCs Wooden Floor CAS Background WF01
This one kinda feels like the grunge background, only less artfully scuffed.
Also; theres a wooden floor.
In all seriousness, I can appreciate this one for its simplicity.
And its performing arts feel.
Your Sim is perfectly positioned to look like its standing on the floor, and the spotlights above make it feel like a stage setting.
Zooming in doesnt pixelate the texture too much either, which I think is pretty great. 12. KatVerseCCs Stars CAS Background
This one feels very much like a prom photo studio backdrop, but in the best way.
Darker colors to get a little lost in the black backdrop (and some shades of black sort of disappear), but the lack of functionality doesnt really bother me.
Not when Ive got my Sims standing in front of a background so gorgeous and classy.
Zooming in sort of blurs the stars, but I find it looks pretty artful that way, too.
Like you took a star brush in Photoshop and swiped it across the top. Scenes Backdrops
These CAS backgrounds depict an actual physical setting using scenery images.
They basically look like blown up landscape photos for your Sim to stand in front of.
Common themes are nature-y backgrounds (like parks, trees, forests) and modern, urban settings (like buildings, housing interiors, commercial backdrops). 13. Nowa2000s Fantastic Landscape
Starting us off is this fantasy world background pack from Nowa2000.
Its a set of 10 different CAS backgrounds all depicting fantastical and futuristic worlds.
For instance, the third option has some pretty alien-looking plants growing in the background, and the second one looks like theres an honest-to-goodness spaceship in the background.
I thoroughly enjoyed this pack for the fantastical aspect, as Im a self-proclaimed fantasy nerd.
My favorite has to be option seven because Im also a sucker for ruins. 14. KatVerses Forgotten Grotto HL04
This CAS background from KatVerse (again) is yet another perfect Maxis-Match-masterpiece.
The elements have that same clayified feel of all Sims 4 objects especially the rocks and the crystals.
This makes it by far one of the most immersive CAS backgrounds on this list; it really looks like your Sim has wandered into some sort of forbidden grotto for the sake of a really sweet photoshoot. 15. KatVerses Winter Wonderland
I have come to accept the cultural impact Frozen has had on this generation.
Its so potent, every winter/snow/ice-themed thing has me (and many others) thinking of Disneys Queen Elsa and her iconic musical belting.
This Winter Wonderland CAS BG pack is no different.
No, I dont want to build a snowman.
But there is a CAS background option in here that features a snowman (cuddling up with jolly ol Saint Nick, no less). 16. KatVerseCCs Enchanted Forest
Why isnt this background under the Pop Culture Scenes section?
Because the creator may have used her Merida Sim as the inspo feature photo, but she never stated this was the Highland forest of Brave fame.
In fact if you look at it, it could work as any generic enchanted forest you want to plop your Sims in. It photographs great, too.
I snagged some great screenshots with my own redheaded Sim. 17. Littledicas Old School CAS Room
Now for something more true-to-current-life; an old schoolroom setting.
Its a pretty simple concept that I think was executed beautifully.
Just like the Forgotten Grotto piece, the objects in the background have that clayified Maxis Match texture that gives them actual depth and dimension.
So it looks less like a blown-up, printed-out backdrop photo and more like an actual in-game setting (even though youre just in CAS).
There are six styles to choose from, and the creator was even nice enough to include a recolor kit! 18. thorben.maerzs TS2 Inspired TS4 BG
How about a burst of nostalgia? Remember the TS2 CAS setup?
That red brick room with a mirror, a window, and some wall dcor?
Well Sims creator thorben.maerz has recreated that very room using Sims 4 objects and textures.
And they made it into a pretty sweet TS4 CAS BG for us newer Simmers to enjoy.
Gotta love the light and shadow detail, too. It makes it look highly interactive. 19. Annetts CAS Backgrounds Room Part 2
Much like the previous item, this CAS Backgrounds Room pack from Annett (part 2) reminds me a lot of the CAS setup for The Sims 3.
Maybe its the mirror. Maybe its the window. Maybe its the angle.
Its probably all three.
Alls I know is, I got smacked by nostalgia hard when I saw the sample photos.
There are three color/design options for this set. I liked the mauve-y brown one. 20. Annetts CAS Backgrounds Town Streets
This Town Streets CAS BG pack features some pretty loud pieces.
Im talking cars, buildings, lights, pedestrian lanes there are a lot of elements happening in the backdrops.
Definitely not for those who prefer a cleaner, more minimalist setting when creating their Sims.
But for those who love pictures that give a sense of rushing, movement, activity?
These backgrounds are absolutely perfect.
There are seven different town streets for you to choose from. I personally liked the sepia, old-timey feel of Background 5. 21. Annetts CAS Backgrounds White Room Part 1
Heading back inside for a quick breather, I give you yet another CAS backgrounds pack from Annett.
This one is muted and a lot quieter than the previous piece in the sense that its a bunch of white rooms.
Thats it. Thats the pitch.
Your Sim is posing in some (almost eerily) sterile white rooms, just because.
I personally think the lighting and shadows here combined with the unconventional concept make each background option look freaking artistic.
There are seven choices, but you cant download each individually (you can install them individually though, dont worry). Sims 4 Lighting Cc 22. Archs Custom CAS Backgrounds
This flat mesh from Arch allows you to plaster screenshots on it to create custom CAS backgrounds.
Unfortunately, the post doesnt give instructions on exactly how to do that.
It instead gives us two pretty cool CAS backgrounds to enjoy: an art room background and a city street background.
The difference between these options and the CAS BG packs from Annett is basically the texture. Annetts CAS backgrounds look a lot like photo backdrops in a photography studio.
The backgrounds here have that nice clayified texture that makes CAS screenshots look like they were taken in-game. A feature I personally love. 23. Annetts CAS Backgrounds Autumn 17
Were back outside.
Theres no denying that this Autumn 2017 CAS BG pack is absolutely stunning, but that could also be my unashamed love for Fall colors talking.
There are quite a few options in this pack, too. Nine, to be exact.
And theyre all bursting with varying shades of red, orange, and gold.
The backgrounds arent Maxis Match by any means, but the light and shadows in some of them especially backgrounds 1 and 7 make them look pretty immersive. 24. Annetts House Autumn Wood by Frau Engel
If were going to have an enchanted forest and a bunch of Fall backdrops, we might as well have a cute, holiday-themed, cabin in the woods, right?
This ten-piece CAS background pack is as unique and quirky as they come.
Theres some pretty great detailing and depth to the objects that make all the backgrounds look three dimensional.
Not exactly clayified, but not entirely green-screen-esque, either. 25. Annetts Christmas Eve by Frau Engel
Youve seen the outside, now head on in.
This isnt explicitly stated to be the interior of the Autumn wood log cabin featured in the last piece, but the narrative works pretty well.
Its even made by the same person!
This Christmas Eve pack features the inside of what looks to be a very cozy, very homey wooden house that is decked to the nines with Christmas dcor.
There are nine variations all in all, and each one showcases a different room of this mysteriously festive house.
Youve got the kids room, the kitchen, the hallway, the master bed and bath its all there. And its all gorgeous .
My favorite rooms (aka the ones I had the most fun taking screenshots of) were the kitchen (8), the kids room with the giant teddy (14), and the hallway (12).
And I finally got to use EAs Ugly Winterfest Sweaters. 26. Nowa2000s CAS Background Set Jungle
This CAS background pack is probably my hands-down favorite out of all the Scenes Backdrops section.
See, I was a huge fan of The Sims 3: World Adventures when it came out. Spent hundreds of thousands of hours (and probably hundreds of thousands of Simoleons, too) painstakingly making my way through all the pyramids, tombs, and booby-trapped Champs Les Sims manors.
Now, dont get me wrong; The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure is a pretty cool explore-the-wilderness pack too.
But there was just something about the utter chaos, local shenanigans, and lack of boundaries in World Adventures that made it irreplaceable for me.
For whatever reason, seeing this set of seven CAS Jungle backgrounds reminded of that chaotically random expansion pack.
And for that, I highly recommend you get these adventure-flavored backgrounds. 27. Nowa2000s CAS Background Temple
You know the very first tomb I conquered in TS3 World Adventures? The Dragons Maw.
I mean, I think thats everyones first tomb but I could be wrong.
This stunning Temple CAS background from Nowa2000 reminds me of that tomb a lot. Especially when you reach the huge room with all the yoga mats and the fire traps.
So, just like the Jungle Pack from the item before this, I had to download and test out the BG.
10/10 would let my Sims shamelessly pose on this background for the rest of their natural simulated lives. 28. Nowa2000s CAS Backgrounds Wasteland
Diving back into urban/industrial territory we have the Wasteland CAS BG pack still from Nowa2000.
Now, unlike the other backgrounds from this particular creator, I struggled a bit with letting this pack on the list.
Im going to be honest: some of the background variations were a little too pixelated for my liking. Especially when zoomed in.
There was also a weird, two-dimensional feel to most of the backgrounds (especially 2 and 3) that really pushed the green-screened background narrative.
But eventually, the concept and background 2, shockingly won me over.
I think its a pretty cool wasted, destroyed landscapes set that gives your game a lot of flavor. 29. Annetts CAS Backgrounds Graffiti
These are some really noisy CAS backgrounds.
But theres no denying that they look pretty darn cool .
Six absolutely perfect settings for your super-urban, radically street-smart Sim. And the backdrops are pretty high quality, too.
Not a lot of pixelation when you zoom in and I zoomed in all the way to the face section, mind and plenty of ambience to give each variant a completely unique mood.
Personal favorites have to be 6 and 5.
What can I say? I like my street art gritty. 30. Annetts Bathrooms Part 2
These are a complete 180 from the past couple items, but I figured we needed a breather.
Does anyone actually want their Sims posing in bathrooms? Apparently so.
I guess I sort of see the appeal, especially since the bathroom backdrops in this pack are all varying levels of sleek, chic, and pretty.
I was particularly drawn to 3 (because the mix of marble and earthen tones just spoke to me) and 8 (look at all the knobs for the shower!)
Sometimes you just want your Sims background to speak wealth and luxury, and these bathrooms all look pretty darn luxurious to me.
(Except 2. It sort of looks like a communal area. But the rest are pretty great!) 31. Annetts Dressing Room
Is posing in a dressing room infinitely better than posing in a bathroom?
Id say so. I mean, its still up to personal preference, but I think my Sims looked and felt much classier in front of the CAS backgrounds from this pack.
See? I put them in robes and towels and everything.
Couldnt pick a favorite from this pack, though. Literally all the dressing rooms here look stunning!
From the lights and shadows to the layout and the oh-so-luxurious elements, there wasnt a single variant that was overshadowed.
Good luck picking and installing just one. 32. Nowa2000 CAS Backgrounds Heaven and Hell
Hey. If we can have futuristic/post-apocalyptic waste lands, overgrown jungle ruins, and straight-up luxury bathrooms for TS4 CAS we can definitely throw in some divine flavors, too.
So this Heaven and Hell CAS BG pack from Nowa2000 features some really gorgeous backgrounds.
I can appreciate how its not just your standard clouds and light versus brimstone and fire.
I mean really, there are actual variations for each plane.
The Heaven background has two variants: one with stairs in the back and one with what looks to be a Greco-Roman temple?
The Hell background has four variants, and theyre all pretty distinct mixes of fire, ash, rubble, and ruin.
Like how I snuck some wings in there, too? Pop Culture Scenes Concepts
And last but obviously not least check out some pop culture CAS backgrounds for the Sims 4.
Games, books, TV shows weve got it all.
Heck, there are even some CAS backgrounds in here that are taken from actual worlds in The Sims 4.
You know what? Ill start with those three. 33. KatVerses Realm of Magic Backgrounds
As one of my favorite TS4 game packs, I immediately jumped on this download.
And good thing I did, because the graphics do not disappoint. At all.
I got my usual red-haired Sim to quasi-cosplay Sabrina the Teenage Witch (Archie Comics version) as she posed in front of the Magic Realm portal, and I personally loved the outcome.
There are a total of five (beautifully designed) background options in this pack. I personally love the ones with the portal seen from the Magic Realm and the portal seen from Glimmerbrook. 34. KatVerses Sulani CAS Backgrounds
Whether your Sim is in a gorgeous half-Sim, half-fish creature (seriously TS4 mermaids are the beautiful) or theyre just living their best (island) life, this Sulani CAS BG pack from KatVerse is an absolute gem to have in your Mods folder.
The scenes are very distinct in-game shots that capture the beauty of Sulani perfectly .
There are two sunny options for the sun-kissed Sims and one starry night by the sea option for a more romantic setting. 35. KatVerses Sylvan Glades HL02
And finally, a CAS background straight from one of the TS4 Hidden Worlds.
The correct terms are actually secret lot or hidden area, but Hidden World satisfies my dramatic fantasy nerd self better, okay? Sims 4 Cc Lighting Mod
As you probably know, the Sylvan Glades are only accessible via the pretty, colorful tree (apparently called the Sylvan Tree) adjacent to the Crick Cabana lot in Willow Creek.
While I personally think its a crying shame that you cant do much in that area short of wandering around and fishing that doesnt mean I cant appreciate the gorgeous graphics.
And they translate into a CAS background so well, too. 36. KatVerses Sabrina Background
So, speaking of Sabrina the Teenage Witch
What can I say? I was a big fan of the comics growing up.
Besides, its a pretty simple background graced with the silhouette of a pretty iconic character.
The concepts pretty unique and the quality is great, too. Nothing to complain about, really.
If nothing else, I think it makes for a pretty novel and interesting CAS experience. 37. KatVerses Disney D02 Background
Im trying to come up with a witty Agrabah/Aladdin/Sims 4 connection, but Ive got nothing.
I just think remaking the Agrabah marketplace and the Royal Palace into a pretty darn detailed Sims 4 CAS background is genius.
Is there any reason to get this background other than for the sake of nostalgia and a deeply rooted love for old Disney classics? Not really.
But those reasons were good enough for me. I saw the sample photo and I immediately smacked the download button.
(And I may or may not have tried shoving my own Sims into Aladdin-inspired costumes. Well never know.) 38. KatVerses The Vampire Diaries Background
Ive never watched an episode of Vampire Diaries in my life, but even I could recognize the Salvatore Boarding House.
If youre a fan, this is a nifty and novel background that your Vampire Sim can pose in front of. Sims 4 Led Light
If youre not, its still a pretty quaint backdrop. And high quality, too.
Zooming in doesnt pixelate it at all. 39. KatVerseCCs Alice in Wonderland CAS Background
Alice in Wonderland is such a pretty, iconic, and whimsical pop culture piece that it didnt at all surprise me to see a CAS background for it.
I do think this is one of the most artistic pieces in the whole list, especially since the creator incorporates easily-recognizable Wonderland elements without making the entire background look tacky or over-the-top. Sims 4 Neon Sign Cc
The Cheshire Cats creepy grin, the Red Hearts background, the giant flowers with faces (which is the background I chose for my Sim photo op) all of these are so distinctly Alice in Wonderland, without being screenshots from the actual animated film.
If you love the story, the world, or even just the style, definitely get these backgrounds. 40. Joyzillas World of Warcraft CAS Background Set
Wrapping up here we have a pretty epic CAS background pack.
I give you: World of Warcraft, Sims 4 edition.
Not really but you gotta admit the amount of detail in every scene is pretty freaking stunning .
There are a total of 10 backgrounds to choose from, and all of them are gorgeous. And on-point.
I would argue that theres a variation for every mood.
Happy field of flowers? Check.
Mysterious ruins? Yep.
A succinctly enchanting yet somehow foreboding flower coven? Gotchya covered.
Each variant his its own download link too, and you can clearly see the different backgrounds in the featured photos.
I tried 8 and 10 just to get a feel of each scene, and I can say with confidence that the detail and quality are both excellent. No pixelation or unnecessary blurring here. Give em a try and see what you think! Browse: The SimsVideo Games
